This mobile command center was recently completed for Dorchester County in South Carolina. Built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis, the vehicle features a CUMMINS B6.7L diesel engine with Allison 2200EVS automatic transmission and an all aluminum body. We custom fabricated two flat floor slide-outs to maximize the available interior workspace. A weatherproof exterior workstation has also been added. Extreme Duty body storage compartments offer additional gear storage. A vehicle leveling system has also been added to stabilize the vehicle while deployed. Entry into the vehicle is by curbside or rear entry doors. The rear door has a custom flip down rear step. We simplified the setup of the vehicle by installing our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system touchpanel. A complete emergency lighting and siren package has also been installed in the mobile command center. A rear mounted non-locking telescoping rear mast has been fitted to the command center along with perimeter surveillance camera equipment.
Inside, a front conference room has a fixed center table with spider base task chairs and flip down bench seating for staff. We wall mounted 50" high resolution display monitors both the streetside and curbside interior walls. Magnetic closure pocket doors have been installed for privacy when needed. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are included. A customer supplied video conferencing system has also been installed. An HDMI video matrix switcher can send video content to any of the installed monitors within the vehicle. The center of the vehicle includes storage cabinets with adjustable shelving and a large electronics rack. A galley complete with microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker is also included. We also prewired and installed the customer supplied communications radios.
The rear work room has two workstations, each with a spider base task chair. We included a 32" high resolution display monitor. There is a café-style work area on the streetside wall as well. Custom aluminum cabinetry has been utlized for interior storage.
Additional features include CAT6 network wiring and jacks throughout. We prewired and made installation provisions for customer installed broadband system. A power retracting lateral arm awning has also been installed. Three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units keep the interior cool. Electric wall mount heaters have also been installed. A 20kW liquid cooled diesel generator supplies plenty of electric power to the vehicle. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects all of the installed equipment.
