Derrick Glace's 22ft. Freightliner M2 Tool Truck

Derrick Glace did a great job designing his new 22ft. Freightliner M2 tool truck with LDV! His vehicle features a set-back entry door, a 2,000lb. all-aluminum liftgate, 6.7L Cummins engine and Allison 2500HS automatic transmission. A walk thru from the cab area to the store area makes transitioning from driving to selling a snap. To assist with parking duties, a color backup camera system has been installed.

Derrick utilized LDV's VersaFlex interior system, 5-shelf interior display with ColorCore faced shelves, and overstock bins. He also included a red socket center and multiple displays on e-track, providing him flexibility to change up the look of his store down the road. The tool truck also features a ColorCore L-shaped workstation with a lighted knife display, double repair stack with ColorCore face-frame and carpeted hammer rack, and three toolbox areas. A 2.7 cu. ft. dual voltage glass front refrigerator has also been integrated into the promo shelving towards the rear of the vehicle. HVAC is handled by a 53,000 BTU engine driven A/C with rooftop mounted condensor and a 110 Volt 15,000 BTU roof top A/C unit with a heat pack. Derrick created a tool truck with a great layout that will allow him to adapt with the needs of his customers!
