David Winget's new 22ft. tool truck is a stunner! The Freightliner M2 with set-back entry door is powered by a 6.7L Cummins engine and an Allison 2500HS automatic transmission. A 2,000lb. all-aluminum lift gate has been installed on the rear of the vehicle for loading and unloading of inventory through the rear swing door. HVAC is handled by a 15,000BTU roof top A/C unit with heat pack and a 12,000 BTU diesel fired furnace. Assisting with parking duties is a color back-up camera system.
The oak L-shaped work desk comes with a 22" drawer stack and a refrigerator and jump seat for comfort and convenience. A lighted knife display has been added to the side of the L-shaped work desk as well. The double 22" wide oak repair stack features a carpeted hammer rack for display of hammers and other single pieces of inventory. A compressed air test line can also be found on the workstation as well. E-track has been used in conjunction with multiple displays such as the Sliding Display and power tool display. The e-track provides easy reconfiguration of these displays if needed down the road. LDV's 5-shelf interior and VersaFlex system have also been added for expansive inventory display. Overstock bins are found on the floor for additional storage as well.
