Davenport Police Department (IA) Mobile Command Center

Davenport Police Department of Iowa just took delivery of this new mobile command/incident response vehicle. Their new truck is built on a Freightliner MT-55 gasoline chassis and features all aluminum body construction, 308HP and an Allison 2200HS automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with a 12kW gasoline generator for electric power generation. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects all the installed equipment. Exterior features include TVI dome perimeter surveillance cameras, emergency lighting and siren package and bright LED scene lights. A custom flip down rear step provides easy access into the interior of the vehicle. Inside, the vehicle has a front conference room with flip down bench seating, fixed center conference table, fixed bench seating and dual 50" display monitors. Interior lighting is LED. There is a magnetic closure pocket door also installed. The center of the vehicle houses a multi-function copier/printer on a slide-out tray and the electronics rack. Durable custom aluminum cabinets are also included. The rear of the vehicle has 3 workstations with 27" monitors installed on wall brackets. An HDMI matrix switcher has also been installed to distribute video to monitors throughout the vehicle. We prewired and made provisions for a customer installed rear-mounted mast. We also prewired the vehicle for customer-supplied communications radios. CAT6 network wiring and jacks are included throughout. We also installed a Cradlepoint router and antennas on the vehicle.
