We recently completed this mobile command center trailer for the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services (DES). The tandem axle trailer features a full perimeter aluminum frame and curbside entry. We installed a trailer stabilizing system as well as a 16-foot automatic awning to provide shade while deployed. The exterior has a four camera perimeter IP camera system installed for situational awareness. An Onan 10kW commercial quiet generator with a full trailer surge protection system has been installed to supply plenty of electric power.
Inside, the front work room features a large electronics rack and dual workstations, each with a spider base task chair. Each workstation has a 24" display monitor. Laminate counter tops are also utilized for durability. Custom aluminum cabinetry has been installed for gear storage. Overhead cabinets feature dry erase writing surface. The center of the trailer is home to the galley with microwave and refrigerator. The rear conference and collaboration room has a fixed center table along with fixed bench seating and dual spider base task chairs for staff. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are wall mounted. LED undercabinet lighting is also utilized.
The HVAC system consists of dual low profile rooftop A/C units and a direct discharge furnace. Interior lighting is LED throughout. The rear wall has a 43" UHD 4K Smart TV.
