The Columbia County Sheriff's Office just took delivery of this new 31ft, single slide-out mobile command center. The vehicle is build on a Ford F59 (gas) chassis and features an all aluminum body construction. We integrated one of our custom fabricated flat-floor slide-outs to the vehicle to maximum the available interior workspace. We also built and installed a weatherproof exterior workstation complete with 43" high resolution display monitor.
To simplify the deployment of the vehicle on scene, we integrated one of our Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation touchscreens which controls all vital functions of the vehicle including slide-out extension (and retraction), HVAC, lighting, generator start/stop and more. A vehicle leveling system was also integrated into the chassis.
Inside, the vehicle has a front conference room with magnetic closure pocket door, flip-down conference table, fixed bench seating with underseat storage, two spider base task chairs as well as custom flip-down seating. A trio of high resolution monitors are mounted to the curbside wall and are able to display a variety of inputs. There is a galley complete with microwave and refrigerator, lavatory, aluminum cabinetry for gear storage and laminate counter tops. In the rear of the vehicle are three workstations, with undercabinet lighting, a storage closet and a multi-function printer on a slide-out tray. An electronics rack was installed in the bulkhead above the workstations for easy access to matrix switcher.
