Built on a Ford F59 chassis, this mobile command center features a 7.3L V8 gasoline engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. We integrated a non-locking telescoping pneumatic mast to the rear of the vehicle. The mast has dome network IP cameras installed for surveillance. A single LDV-fabricated flat floor slide out has been installed to provide addition interior workspace. LDV's exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system has been installed to simplify the start up and shut down of the vehicle. A complete emergency lighting and siren package and bright LED scene lighting has also been installed on the vehicle. We custom fabricated extreme duty body storage compartments for exterior gear storage as well. The curbside exterior has a weatherproof exterior workstation with a SunBrite 43" 4K LED monitor.
Inside, there is a large front conference and collaboration room complete with fixed bench seating and a custom flip down conference table in the center of the room. The slide out is home to a flip down bench seat with a 65" display monitor. There is another 65" display monitor over the fixed bench seat. Cocopah PD elected to add a small galley with microwave, refrigerator and Keurig® coffee maker. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinets are also included. There is a large storage cabinet with adjustable shelving. A café-style workstation has also been included along with another workstation in the rear of the vehicle. The rear workstation has a wall-mounted 32" monitor. An electronics rack and a slide-out printer tray are also included.
A 12kW gasoline generator supplies the electric power to the vehicle. We also installed a full vehicle surge suppression system to protect the installed equipment. An Extron matrix switcher handles video feeds from any of the cameras on the vehicle. We also prewired the vehicle for customer supplied communications radios. CAT6 network wiring and jacks are utilized throughout. There is also a Cradlepoint cellular router with rooftop antenna.
