Cherokee Nation HS of Oklahoma recently took delivery of their new mobile command/health unit. The vehicle has dual capabilities for COVID response and command functions. Built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis, the vehicle has all aluminum body construction, CUMMIN B6.7L diesel engine and an automatic transmission. We added a custom flip down rear step for easy entry into the vehicle.
The front area of the interior has a conference/collaboration room complete with a fixed table. The table has a flip down leaf extension. A fixed bench seat and flip down bench seats provide seating for staff. A large 50" LED display monitor is mounted to the curbside wall. The center of the vehicle has a galley with microwave, refrigerator and a Keurig® coffee make. We included a water supply system along with a stainless steel sink. An electronics rack is also included. Gear storage is provided by custom LDV-fabricated aluminum cabinetry. A custom stainless steel backsplash has also been included.
The rear work room features two spider base task chairs as well as a Brewer medical exam table. A Welch Allyn medical diagnostics system is also included. Counter tops are durable laminate. An Onan Commercial Quiet diesel generator supplies electric power to the vehicle. Electrical systems are protected by a full vehicle surge suppression system.
