The Campbell Police Department recently took delivery of their new mobile command center. Their command center is built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis and features dual LDV-fabricated flat floor slide-outs. The truck is powered by a CUMMINS B6.7L diesel engine with 260HP. A rear-mounted non-locking pneumatic mast was installed with dome network IP perimeter camera system. There is a ladder for rooftop access. An LDV-fabricated weatherproof exterior workstation was also integrated. We installed a generous power retracting awning for shade as well. We also installed vehicle leveling to stabilize the mobile command center. Our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system enables vehicle deployment in minutes on scene. Localized small touch pads are included in the exterior workstation and in the galley and rear work room.
Inside there is a front conference room with both flip down and fixed bench seating. A large display monitor is installed in the curbside slide-out. The conference table has a folding leaf. The center of the vehicle has a large electronics rack and dual café style workstations. Laminate counter tops are utilized for durability. Custom aluminum cabinets are included for gear storage. The rear of the vehicle has additional workstations, customer supplied communications radios, four spider base task chairs and more. Magnetic dry erase white boards are also installed.
The vehicle is equipped with a complete emergency lights and siren package. We also installed a color backup camera system in the mobile command center. LED scene lights are also installed. A 20kW diesel generator supplies the electric power and a full vehicle surge suppression system protects the electronics equipment.
