This mobile crime lab features a Ford Transit 350 high roof chassis with a 3.5L twin turbo V6 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. We added a Class III hitch and a ceiling mount A/C unit for the HVAC system. The hitch is also used for the rear entry step. Blackout curtains are included for the front cab area windows. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinets have been installed along with 2 interior workstations, each with a spider base task chair. A storage area with adjustable shelving is utilized for gear. We prewired and installed the customer’s computer and communications radios. Wall-mounted high resolution display monitors are also installed.

Axis IP perimeter surveillance camera system is installed with one main camera and four 108° sensor units. The vehicle is also wired with CAT6 network cabling. We prewired and made provisions for a customer-supplied multi-function printer as well.
