LDV designed this SWAT/Rapid Response Van with the help for the Bowling Green Police Department. Bowling Green provided LDV with the Sprinter chassis and body.
The interior conversion includes custom-fit cloth headliner and high-density polyethylene walls. E-track and ratcheting straps provide shield storage on the curbside wall next to the sliding door. Aluminum grab rails with rubber inserts are at the top of the vehicle on the passenger and driver side. Custom fixed bench seating with removable cushions provides additional storage space along with two additional storage cabinets with doors. An aluminum extension extends the rear bumper for entry through the dual rear doors.
