The Allstate Vans and Ford Transit were designed so the Allstate Catastrophe Team has the ability to drive into devastated areas and service their clients. The adjusters can assist in getting customers’ claims filed, basic equipment needs met, etc. On board adjusters will be able to assess damage and write checks, carry basic supplies such as bottled water, and be internet-ready so customers can connect with friends and family.

The GMC 2500 Cargo Vans include a 4.8L gas engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. They include two workstations with task chairs, custom overhead cabinets with dry erase surfaces, CAT6 computer network jacks, and a 26” LCD HDTV monitor between them. A weatherproof exterior LCD monitor compartment has been added for staff to work outside the vehicle if needed while a heavy-duty awning provides cover. For electric power, a 7kW gas generator has been installed in a custom-fabricated generator housing.
