Alabama Power Catastrophe Response Trailer

Alabama Power recently took delivery of their new 53ft. Catastrophe Response/Mobile Command Trailer. The trailer shell features two 30ft. flat floor expandable sections with aluminum and steel construction for maximum interior workspace. Entry into the trailer is through 3 aluminum doors with panic bar and hidden closers. The underbelly of the trailer features storage compartments for additional gear. A 40kW diesel generator supplies electric power to the trailer for use when deployed. HVAC consists of dual vertical wall mounted 5 ton with 9kW heat and dual electronic thermostats.

The interior of the trailer features a rear conference room, center conference room, a galley area and a functioning bedroom. A total of 22 rolling workstation chairs are included in the trailer. Aluminum cabinets throughout provide gear storage. Counter tops and conference tables are durable solid surface. A total of 12 magnetic surface dry erase white boards framed in aluminum are installed throughout the interior.

Electronics gear includes an off-air digital HDTV antenna and a customer-supplied satellite data dish. Four IP perimeter cameras are installed on the exterior of the trailer. 3 720p network cameras are also utilized. TV and monitors include 2 32" LED monitors, 1 43" LED monitor, 2 55" 4K LED monitors, 2 65" 4K LED monitors and supplied wall mounts. The customer also went with an 84"  Microsoft Surface Hub for collaboration.
