Adventist Health of California recently took delivery of their new mobile medical vehicle! Built on an LDV custom coach chassis, this vehicle features a CUMMINS ISB 6.7L engine and Allison 2350 MH six-speed automatic transmission. Vehicle features include a pressurized water supply system with both fresh and gray water tanks. The interior configuration consists of a front patient room complete with exam table and workstation. Custom aluminum cabinets can be found throughout the vehicle as well. All overhead cabinets have under cabinet LED lighting.
The center of the vehicle has a fixed bench seat and storage closet along with a workstation for convenience. The vehicle interior also has a complete lavatory with toilet and corner sink. The lavatory can be found next to the check-in area, as well as a workspace with medical refrigerator, sink and additional cabinets. Wilsonart laminate countertops have been used throughout the vehicle for durability. The rear of the vehicle features another patient exam room. Flush pocket doors on heavy-duty aluminum tracks provide privacy between the different spaces of the vehicle as well.
Providing shade to the vehicle is an 18' automatic awning on the street side of the vehicle. A powerful 20kW liquid-cooled diesel generator supplies electric power to the vehicle. A full vehicle surge suppression system is also installed to protect the electronics throughout. HVAC duties are handled by three low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat. Four wall mounted electric heaters are also installed to keep things warm in the winter.
