We recently completed this mobile command center for the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Police. The command vehicle is built on a Ford F550 chassis and features a 7.3L gas engine with automatic transmission. The rivetless all aluminum body features integrated emergency and LED scene lighting. Inside, the command center has a front work room for two staff members, each with a spider base task chair and a 32" high resolution display monitor. Custom aluminum cabinetry has been installed for gear storage. Overhead cabinets have dry erase writing surface. We installed the customer's communications radios underneath the work surface. An overhead electronics rack has also been installed.
The center of the vehicle has a galley with microwave and refrigerator. A large storage closest is also included in the design. The rear of the vehicle has a conference room with a center collaboration table, fixed bench seating and flip down seats for staff. We wall mounted a 50" high resolution display monitor to the rear of the interior. We also installed another communications radio to the rear wall. A large magnetic surface dry erase white board is installed on the curbside interior wall.
An Onan Commercial Quiet gas generator supplies plenty of electric power to the vehicle. A full vehicle surge suppression system is also included to protect the vehicle's electronics. A digital HDTV antenna has been installed as well. CAT6 network wiring and jacks are utilized throughout. Dual low profile rooftop A/C units handle the cooling duties. A direct discharge furnace keeps the vehicle interior warm.
