Project Manager/Estimator

LDV, Inc., the premier global supplier of emergency response and specialty vehicles is growing and we want you to join our team!

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager/Estimator to work with salespeople, customers, and manufacturing through the design and build of our custom vehicles. This is a hands-on position in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  

Responsibilities of this position include:
  • Provide specifications and quotations to prospective customers.
  • Work with customers to identify needed functionality and requirements.
  • Establish project timeline upon receipt of order and communicate with customer regarding timeline and mutual commitments.
  • Present customer requirements to Purchasing Department to attain high quality standard products the customer wants.
  • Follow up with customer on regular basis to advise progress.
  • Coordinate project activities with appropriate third parties.
  • Responsible for project profitability as compared to established expectations.
  • Evaluate and report project results.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2-4 years related experience. 
  • Experience in cost estimating.
  • Must be detail oriented, self-directed, motivated and be able to meet deadlines. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
